As an acoustic guitar player in training, via Pete Huttlinger’s DVD’s, I needed a metronome to improve my timing and strengthen my technique. Never bought a metronome before; read the reviews, didn’t want to crush the budget- the Korg MA-30 works nicely.

Small, simple, made in Vietnam, plastic- it’s just a little circuit board with a screen and a little speaker. Runs on 2 little batteries provided. Just how durable and lasting it is, time will tell. My guess is as long as I don’t smash it or dip it, it’ll be ok.
